P&A participa en misión minera a Australia

La gira estará integrada por 15 empresas, como Pares&Alvarez, Sigdo Koppers, SQM, CAP, Antofagasta Minerals y Vantaz, entre otras.

Con el objetivo de conocer el ecosistema minero australiano y la realización de reuniones con mineras y proveedores de la minería local, se realizará, entre el 30 de octubre y 8 de noviembre, la Misión Minera Australia 2022 organizada por Cámara Chileno Australiana de Comercio (Auscham), AndesMETS, SOFOFA y el Consejo Empresarial Chile–Australia.

El gerente comercial de Pares&Alvarez, Andrés Jara, destacó que la misión los llevará a Brisbane, Sídney y Perth y que entre las actividades que realizarán destaca la participación en la Conferencia Internacional de Minería y Recursos (IMARC, por sus siglas en inglés), evento que reúne a más de 5000 participantes. La misión minera estará integrada por 15 empresas, como Pares&Alvarez, Sigdo Koppers, SQM, CAP, Antofagasta Minerals y Vantaz, entre otras.

La minería en Australia aporta aproximadamente un 10% del PIB y sus principales estados mineros son Australia Occidental (WA), Queensland (QLD) y Nueva Gales del Sur (NSW). Actualmente, existen en la isla oceánica más de 400 minas activas que generan ventas por más de US$ 230 billones y los sectores de la minería y energía representaron el 55% de las exportaciones en 2021.

P&A will participate in a mining mission to Australia

The Australia 2022 Mining Mission organized by the Chilean-Australian Chamber of Commerce (Auscham), AndesMETS, SOFOFA and the Chile-Australia Business Council will take place between October 30 and November 8 with the purpose of getting to know the Australian mining ecosystem and holding meetings with mining companies and local suppliers.

The commercial manager of Pares&Alvarez, Andrés Jara, pointed out that the mission will take them to Brisbane, Sydney and Perth and that among the activities they will carry out is the participation in the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC), an event that brings together more than 5,000 participants. Mining in Australia contributes approximately 10% of GDP and its main mining states are Western Australia (WA), Queensland (QLD) and New South Wales (NSW). Currently, there are more than 400 active mines on the oceanic island generating sales of more than US$ 230 billion and the mining and energy sectors accounted for 55% of exports in 2021.
