On Thursday, 3 September, Bmining and Pares&Alvarez signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), formalising an ongoing collaboration aimed at identifying and developing joint opportunities across the mining industry and related sectors.

This collaboration brings together complementary capabilities to address project challenges from an integrated perspective, connecting strategy and early-stage decision-making with engineering and execution throughout the different stages of project development.

Its approach combines mining expertise, technical excellence and business insight to support critical decisions from the earliest stages of development. Its capabilities include mine design and planning, audits and due diligence, economic and risk assessments, strategic analysis and early-stage engineering.

Pares&Alvarez is a Chilean engineering company with 32 years of experience and more than 5,800 projects delivered in Chile and international markets. With operations in Chile, Peru, Australia and the United States, the company provides capabilities in consulting, environmental services, engineering, procurement, project management, and EP, EPC and EPCM contract delivery, supporting clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.

The signing of this agreement reflects a shared belief in the value of collaboration in addressing the challenges of an increasingly complex industry. By bringing together specialised expertise, innovation and experience, Bmining and Pares&Alvarez aim to develop solutions that contribute to the successful delivery of their clients’ projects.

We would like to thank the teams from both organisations who made this important milestone possible, and we look forward to continuing to build new opportunities that contribute to the development of the mining industry.
