Pares&Alvarez Presents Dynamic Simulation Solutions to Optimise Mining Processes at Procemin Geomet 2026

8 of July of 2026

Pares&Alvarez took part in Procemin Geomet 2026 — one of the leading international conferences on mineral processing and geometallurgy, held in Santiago from 7 to 9 July — through a presentation by Pilar Cisterna, Process Deputy Manager, titled “Bottleneck Analysis in Crushing, Stacking and Reclaiming Plants through Dynamic Simulation”.

The presentation examined how dynamic simulation applied to mining processes helps identify operational constraints, evaluate different scenarios and support more informed decision-making in processing plant operations. This engineering approach helps anticipate bottlenecks and improve efficiency across key stages such as crushing, stacking and reclaiming.

The event brings together more than 650 experts and features over 130 technical presentations from specialists across different countries, focusing on plant operation and management, mineral process modelling, comminution, grinding, tailings reprocessing and geometallurgy applied to mine planning.

Alongside Cisterna, the Pares&Alvarez delegation included José Miguel Ortiz, Mining Development Manager, and Cristián Weissman, Mining Business Development Manager, who took part in technical activities and networking opportunities with key industry players.

This participation reinforces Pares&Alvarez’s commitment to mining engineering solutions that deliver efficiency and innovation, and its active role in the sector’s leading technical forums.
