Pares&Alvarez at the Noosa Mining Investor Conference 2026

The Noosa Mining Investor Conference is one of the most relevant events on Australia’s mining calendar, held annually in Noosa Heads, Queensland. Its 2026 edition ran from 22 to 24 July, with Pares&Alvarez represented by our Project Manager in Australia, Camila González.

The event brought together around 70 mining companies listed on the Australian stock exchange and more than 2,500 delegates — investors, brokers and fund managers — over three days of business meetings and corporate presentations grouped by commodity: gold, copper, silver and critical minerals.

The conference covered topics such as copper and gold project development, the financial strength of companies in the sector, and investment opportunities in critical minerals.

Several presentations pointed out that new copper deposits are getting harder to find, as global demand continues to grow, driven by electrification. Several gold projects in development also drew investor attention thanks to their strong financial outlook.

The long-term outlook for the industry remains positive, even as the sector’s shares remain volatile in the short term.
