Since our origins, 30 years ago, PA Engineering has been evolving and growing as a company, reaching more than 1,000 employees. Always maintaining our purpose of providing innovative, comprehensive and tailor-made solutions to our customers, we are happy to share with you the realization of our First Sustainability Report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fundamental pillars that have sustained our company, such as flexibility, commitment, transparency, innovation, safety and quality, have been key to increasing our presence over time and overcoming the various challenges posed by the local and global environment. Likewise, sustainability, now a fundamental value for humanity, has been incorporated into our identity for many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainability at PA Engineering is about operating in a responsible and balanced manner, considering our long-term economic, social, and environmental impact. In economic terms, we seek to maximize our profitability through efficient and responsible management practices, ensuring long-term viability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From a social point of view, we care about the well-being of our employees, valuing them and respecting their labour rights, promoting diversity and inclusion, promoting talent in a safe and healthy work environment. We direct our efforts to guarantee equal opportunities for all our employees, highlighting the development of the Inclusion Policy and its explicit commitment to gender equality in collaboration with CPC Biob\u00edo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From an environmental perspective, we are aware of the importance of managing our impact for both the sustainability of our company and that of our customers.  We actively strive to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by optimizing the use of resources, adopting efficient waste management practices, and fostering innovation in products and processes. The geographical conditions of our country make us vulnerable to water scarcity and climate change, so mitigating this situation requires a collective effort. For this reason, we are taking concrete measures through training and workshops, preparing ourselves to face the new challenges that are presented to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, sustainability in our company involves the adoption of ethical standards, the promotion of transparency in communication, and close collaboration with customers, suppliers, shareholders, and the community at large.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In short, we see our sustainability as integrating social and environmental responsibility into our operations. We seek to ensure profitable and sustainable growth in the long term, benefiting our employees, the company, society and the planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Having the First Sustainability Report means having a management tool that is increasingly valued by all our stakeholders. In addition, this report represents an exercise in transparency and communication, which we hope to replicate in its next versions for all our customers, suppliers and the community in general. This is our next challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this context, the preparation of this report supports the implementation of performance indicators, such as efficiency in the use of resources, the promotion of good labour practices and responsible environmental management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout this process, we have learned that sustainability is a shared responsibility and a path to continuous improvement, which challenges us to adapt social and environmental dynamics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent times, other initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of our employees include the implementation of the 40-hour workweek, the hybrid work model, and the company’s voluntary commitment to establish a minimum wage of 22 UF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
