The event brought together around 70 mining companies listed on the Australian stock exchange and more than 2,500 delegates \u2014 investors, brokers and fund managers \u2014 over three days of business meetings and corporate presentations grouped by commodity: gold, copper, silver and critical minerals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conference covered topics such as copper and gold project development, the financial strength of companies in the sector, and investment opportunities in critical minerals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Several presentations pointed out that new copper deposits are getting harder to find, as global demand continues to grow, driven by electrification. Several gold projects in development also drew investor attention thanks to their strong financial outlook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
