This milestone reinforces the organisation\u2019s commitment to decentralisation and to strengthening its nationwide presence, positioning Concepci\u00f3n as a strategic hub for industrial development in southern Chile, particularly in sectors such as port operations, forestry, metalworking, and related services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was attended by regional authorities, including the Governor of the Biob\u00edo Region, Sergio Giacaman, and the Regional Minister (Seremi) of Economy, Development and Tourism, Christian Cifuentes, as well as representatives from the public, academic, and business sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Representing Auscham were the Australian Ambassador to Chile, Andrew Martin; its President, Christian Gonz\u00e1lez; and its General Manager, Ximena L\u00f3pez, along with executives from member companies in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notable attendees included Sebasti\u00e1n Illanes, General Manager of ASMAR; V\u00edctor Contreras, CEO of Pares&amp;Alvarez; and Christian Gonz\u00e1lez, Executive Director of Grupo C&amp;G Servicios Industriales, in addition to representatives from various companies affiliated with the Chamber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The academic sector was also present, with participation from the University of Concepci\u00f3n, INACAP, and Universidad San Sebasti\u00e1n, further strengthening the link between industry, innovation, and talent development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On April 7, the Chilean-Australian Chamber of Commerce (Auscham) officially inaugurated its new office in Concepci\u00f3n, in a ceremony held at the Wyndham Concepci\u00f3n Pettra Hotel.
