The event was attended by Rodrigo Pe\u00f1ailillo, Commercial Manager of the Environment Division at Pares&Alvarez, who noted that, \u201cas the Environmental Team, we are very well positioned to continue offering solutions to companies regarding permits and environmental studies, where this new law is expected to streamline and simplify the processing of sectoral permits, reducing bureaucracy and wait times for projects, by creating a single digital window, defined maximum deadlines, standardized forms, and the introduction of affidavits for low-risk projects.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event featured opening remarks by \u00c1lvaro Garc\u00eda, Minister of Economy, Development, Tourism, and Energy; and Patricia N\u00fa\u00f1ez, President of the Chamber. Next, Nicol\u00e1s Marshall, head of the Development, Investment, and Industry Division at the Ministry of Economy, gave a presentation on the new sectoral permitting law, including changes and the implementation process, among other aspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He later participated in a panel discussion moderated by Patricia N\u00fa\u00f1ez, which also featured Julio Lav\u00edn, founding partner of Lav\u00edn Abogados & Consultores, and Romualdo Z\u00fa\u00f1iga, Technical Manager of Environmental and Sectoral Affairs.
