{"id":1009,"date":"2025-01-17T14:40:00","date_gmt":"2025-01-17T17:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pya.cl\/en\/?p=1009"},"modified":"2025-04-23T15:54:34","modified_gmt":"2025-04-23T18:54:34","slug":"proyecto-destacado-de-prueba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pya.cl\/en\/2025\/01\/17\/proyecto-destacado-de-prueba\/","title":{"rendered":"Study of transportation alternatives \u201cMagallanes Winds\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>RWE Renewables Chile is developing the Vientos Magall\u00e1nicos project, a plant that seeks to produce green hydrogen and ammonia through a wind farm, which would be located near Villa Tehuelches, Laguna Blanca, about 100 km northwest of Punta Arenas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The wind farm would have an installed capacity of approximately 1 GW and estimates an annual production of 475,000 tons of green ammonia to be exported to international markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, PA Engineering carried out a Trade-Off study on transportation alternatives to the different ports in the area, evaluating the possibility of transporting electricity, green hydrogen or ammonia.
